WoW! What a difference doing a different type of ceremony! I worked with Jerome Braga today photographing a wedding at the Inn at Longshore in Westport. It was absolutely stunning! The cultural appreciation for color and family was overpowering and beautiful. It was a great sight to be a part of. Pictures to come soon. With a word: Embrace different cultures and show their beauty.
It has been a fantastic weekend of weather and weddings! I shot for Jerome Braga of Studio 1923 for two events this weekend. Our first wedding took place at the Farmington Club in Farmington, CT. The weather was on the brink for most of the afternoon, and of course, the rain came right in the middle of the ceremony. All was well as the ceremony concluded and the guests escaped the rain to join a fabulous party inside.
Our Saturday wedding took place at the Marriot in Stamford, CT. After a night of storms and torrential down pours, the weather was stunning and picturesque for a great day. Our bride was absolutely stunning and a dream to photograph. The ceremony took place at her father’s church in New York state. We were taken to a park in Stamford to do the formal portraiture. Jerome had fantastic ideas for posing and we are both very pleased with the results.
My first vacation of the summer. I am out of town on a camping trip with my husband and friends. Yes…it’s raining…and that’s probably my doing (I have a thing with planning events and having rain be the uninvited guest). Anyone who knows me, knows what my wedding was like. :o)
