Good Ole’ Fashioned Exhaustion

There is something to be said about pushing yourself to your physical limits to complete exhaustion but feeling completely energized at the same time.  It’s a rush in a way.  I had the most insane week/weekend and can’t wait to share the images that share my story.

Quick recap.
Monday I spent my morning editing with my girl Carla and chilled with Troy Photography and guests.
Tuesday I spent the morning editing with De Pino and shot over to Mayor Mike’s in Hartford for Carla’s AMAZING opening!  You go girl!
Wednesday I spent the entire day with my bug-a-boo nephew.  He’s exhausting now!
Thursday was the awesome thunderstorm here in CT.  I always love a good storm, but not when I’m catapolting my body across the driveway trying to get out of the rain.  Thankfully nothing’s broken, except my composure.  ha ha!  Alas, I spent the remainder of the day recouping for the approaching weekend.
Friday, I drove up to Cape Cod to meet De Pino for a wedding at Weguassett Resort and Golf Club.  Amazing by the way!  After shooting, I turned around and drove BACK to Connecticut.  I know, I’m insane, but guess what?  I had a wedding to shoot Saturday.
Saturday I woke up at the Super 8 in Old Saybrook and soldiered on to shoot Andrea and Jonathon’s wedding along the shoreline in Guilford and Branford.  I cannot wait to share the pictures with you all!  Shout out to my girl Julia for helping me out with this one.  This was her first “wedding photography” gig so I was pumped to give her a good experience.  And what a great couple for her to start out with!  These two were so fun and up for anything, it was a blessing!
But sadly, the exhaustion has gotten the best of me and today has turned itself into a “pajama day”.  Time to rest up and take care of myself!  Sounds like a good day for Pad Thai and Karate Kid movies. 😉

Val McCormick Photography - >Well I was going to give you a hard time about you not going to the retreat since I was so looking forward to seeing you there. I guess you deserve a little break from driving; at least it would’nt have took you as long to get there as it did me, lol 😉 Let’s just say my GPS prefers zip codes.

Robin Dini Photography - >thanks mike.

Robin Dini Photography - >snap snap! ha ha 🙂

eric - >way to work it girl!
