It was only for a short time, but I have moved out of my studio in Hartford. It was a truly wonderful opportunity, but out of necessity for business growther, moving the studio back home has already shown to be the right decision. Going back to my roots, I’ve started doing Enviornmental Portraiture. I’ve been doing a ton or research with photographers across the country and now feel comfortable operating 100% out of my home.
Subjects are so much more comfortable in their own enviornment and it offers endless possibilities. The wardrobe options alone make shooting from a client’s home so much more sensible! With the purchase of some transportable studio lighting and some inventive marketing, I think this concept is going to fit well with my/our lives right now.
