Working at a new venue is always a pleasure and offers many opportunities to spread out your creative wings. Sometimes this change is a challenge and sometimes its a blessing. I found The Waterview in Monroe, CT to be a mix of both. I think that will show in the images (which I am very eager to see).
For this wedding I was a second shooter, once again, for my dear friend, Jerome Braga of Studio 1923. Both of us were shooting at The Waterview for the first time so it was great to collaborate and share ideas and techniques for shooting in such a large candlelit ballroom. Just a little bit of background info, The Waterview is a brand new facility in Monroe, CT which is in its second year of operation. The layout and decor of the interior is quite stylish and beautiful. There is rich natural lighting from the many windows in the main ballroom. This particular bride and groom chose to keep the mood romantic by having candlelight on every possible service. Beautiful scene! I cannot wait to share photos.
